Best time to Visit -

Loro Parque would be the weekdays, specifically Tuesday and Friday. There won’t be a crowd as there are very few flights to Tenerife during these days. Getting There:
By Train:
If you want to take the train then the Loro Parque Express is your best bet. You can take this train from Puerto de la Cruz to Loro Parque. Not only is it a direct train but it is also a free service that takes visitors from Plaza de Los Reyes Católicos to Loro Parque and back.

By Bus:
The Loro Parque Offers a bus Service for visitors to get to the park. This is one of the most convenient methods to travel to the park. However, visitors will have to buy the ticket on the park’s webpage and book the seat 24 hours in advance. You can check out the pickup points here.
By Car:
Since it is an island, the route is extremely straightforward and usually in a single stretch. Travel on the TF 1,2, and 5 around the east/northeast of the Island to Loro Park. Loro Parque has a 3-floor car parking facility. They charge €5 for a day.

  • The park offers free Wi-Fi for all the visitors
  • Although you can pay with both cash and credit card in the park, it’s recommended that guests stick to electronic money transfers.
  • Loro Parque allows smoking. However, you are only allowed to smoke in specific smoking areas.
  • Pet’s are, unfortunately, not allowed. 
  • There is also a Lost & Found. You can find your lost belongings by talking to the public relations crew.
  • The park offers baby strollers at a rental price of €5 per day with a €45 deposit which will be refunded when the stroller is returned.
  • The majority of the Loro Parque attractions are accessible by wheelchair to those with disabilities. 
  • The park offers wheelchairs to rent. The park does take a €30 deposit, which is refunded when it is returned. It is recommended you call the Loro Parque and reserve the wheelchair at least 72 hours in advance.
  • There is also the option of renting an electric wheelchair. The park charges a rental price of €14.30 and a refundable deposit of €30. 
  • You are required to bring your photo id with you on the day of your visit to the wheelchair pickup spot.

  • Once you’ve purchased the ticket you are required to confirm on the website. This applies to annual pass holders as well.
  • The exhibitions and shows are subject to modifications. So, keep track of the timetable on the official website. 
  • Visitors are only allowed to carry professional photographic equipment with prior permission.
  • Go to the park during the week specifically on Tuesdays and Fridays as it’s less likely to be crowded.
  • Start the tour during the morning at 9.30 AM when the park opens as you’ll need an entire day to cover the highlights. 
  • In order to avoid queues, it’s better to go to the shows in advance before it begins.
  • It’s also best if you wear comfortable shoes as you’re going to be on your feet.
  • Additionally, it’s better to carry a water bottle with you as it will prevent frequent trips to the cafeteria.
  • In addition to comfy shoes, all visitors will benefit from carrying a pair of sunglasses. You can start the tour from the back as this will make it less likely to bump into crowds.
  • It’s always best to plan your visit rather than wing it.
